Community Benefits

All proceeds from the event are donated back to the community as contributions to the organisations that support the running of the event. Groups such as local football/netball clubs, Cricket clubs and other sporting and community associations provide volunteers and marshals to assist with the logistics of the event, and are provided a cash contribution to assist with their club expenses.

In the past we have provided grants to junior and senior athletes to help with costs associated with competing in state and national events.

Each year we provide opportunities for donations to a charity that we believe to be of community benefit.   All proceeds go directly to the charity from the donations received during the registration process.
